2024 Paddle Session Bookings

In the months of February, March, April, September, October and November in 2024, for one Sunday a month the Karingal Boat Shed is throwing open the doors and running two Sunday sessions of watercraft paddling on the dam. The session times are:

Session 1 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm and
Session 2 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm

These sessions are suitable for all ages. Cost is $15 per person.
You get to try canoes, kayaks and stand up paddleboards.
These sessions generally book out, so get your bookings in early!

Come along and experience the pristine dam at the campsite - which Redland City Council states is the cleanest dam in their city! 

Participants are required to be Scouting members, wear appropriate clothing for watercraft activities including a hat, long sleeve shirt (preferred), shorts and fully enclosed shoes (crocs, thongs and sandals are not suitable). Bring a towel and a change of clothing as well as water to keep hydrated.

On entry to the campsite, turn left at the large directional signage and follow the road down to the dam.
